Kerr marker, Collin County, Texas
Featured photo for October 2002 - Cemeteries
of Texas Web site was
taken by Gary Webb, of the Rebecca Alice Kerr marker at the Scott
Cemetery, Collin County, Texas.
This marker shows a unique style
for it's time. The carving of the upward pointing hand is common
for this era, yet it was so well constructed that it has withstood
the conditions prevalent to East Texas. The photo it self, shot
to include foreground and background shows the cemetery in true
form, with a mixture of pattern, color, and contrast.
