Funeral services for Larry James Lennon, 61, of Grand Saline were held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 9, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba, with Rev. Jerome Savage officiating. Burial was in Salem Cemetery, Alba. Pallbearers were Jim Russell, Oran Shelton, Toby Drake, Jessie Shelton, Allen Lennon and Derrick Russell. Mr. Lennon died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005, at Cozby-Germany Hospital, Grand Saline. He was born Jan. 14, 1943, in Crush, Tex. He lived most of his life in Wood and Van Zandt Counties. He worked for AAA Wire and other companies in the area constructing steel window frames in high-rise buildings and metal tray tables in hospitals. He was a member of Jamestown Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Pope Lennon of Grand Saline; mother, Irean Tadlock Lennon of Alba; daughter, Mayrean Karl of Mineola; brothers, Henry Dolphus Lennon of Alba and Roger Dale Lennon of Lindale; two grandchildren, T.J. Lennon and Brittany Karl both of Mineola. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Samuel Lennon, June 12, 1991; and wife, Daphnia Marie Lee Lennon, July 28, 1989.
