COMMERCE — Wanda Lee Follis, 73, of Mineola, formerly of
the Commerce area, died July 26, 2006, in Mineola. A memorial service
conducted by the family is scheduled at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Abundant Life
Assembly in Commerce with Brother George McCants officiating. Burial will be
at Mount Zion Cemetery.
Daughter of Elmer and Lula May Romans Hall, she was born Aug. 3, 1932, in
Commerce. She was a retired caregiver. Survivors are two sons, Lee Follis and
Donald Follis; one grandson she raised as her own son, Don Follis Jr.; three
sisters, Ruthie, Roseanne and Margaret; two brothers, James Hall and Edward
Hall; and several great-grandchildren. Her parents and her husband, Gene
Follis, preceded her in death. Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home is in charge
of arrangements.
