Troup Banner, Troup TX: July 29, 1926 MRS. J.A. BELL BURIED AT TROUP MON. AFTERNOON Mrs. J.A. Bell, 67 years old, who died at the home of her son, George Bell, at Grand Saline Sunday, was buried at the Rucker Cemetery near Troup Monday afternoon. Funeral services were conducted at the cemetery by the Rev. Mr. Hambrick, pastor of the Arp Baptist Church. Surviving are three sons; Earl and Joe Bell, both of Troup, and George Bell of Grand Saline. A brother, George Arnold of Troup, and two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Stephens of Hearne and Mrs. Harriet Lowry of Cleburne, also survive. Mrs. Bell, wife of the late James A. Bell of Troup, was born and reared here. She was a member of the First Baptist Church at Troup. Having united with that church many years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Bell were married in 1878.
