John Langston Rites Monday

Funeral services for John T. Langston, 44, of 2815 McDonald Rd., Tyler, 
were held at 2 p.m. Monday in Lloyd James Funeral chapel with the Rev. 
James Garrett and Dr. Henry Ward officiating.

Burial was in Pinecrest Cemetery in Troup. Mr. Langston died Saturday 
night in a Tyler hospital after a sudden illness.

Mr. Langston, a native of Troup, had lived in Tyler for 19 years. He 
was an operator for LaGloria Oil. He was a Merchant Marine during WW II. 
He was a member of the St John's Masonic Lodge. 

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Helen Bell Langston of Tyler; one son, 
John R. Langston of Tyler; tow daughters. Mrs. J Paul Sanders of Galveston 
and Miss Linda Langston of Tyler; His mother Mrs. Shores of Troup; and one 
grandchild.

Pallbearers were John Duress, Jerry Black, Sam Bell, Raymond Bosick, 
Richard Wilson, Willis Bugg, Dr. Vernon V. Goss and Martin Sammons.
