Troup Banner, Troup TX: March 9, 1911 front page. Everett Richardson Dead Saturday the news was wired to Troup from Waring in Southwest Texas the Everett Richardson was dead. He was a Troup citizen, but of late years he spent much of his time in South and Southwest Texas because of lung trouble by which he was afflicted and which finally carried him away. His remains arrived in our city Saturday night and were taken to the residence of Mrs. J.H. Salmon the mother of his wife who will be recalled as Miss Lela Salmon. On Sunday afternoon he was buried in Bradford Cemetery and the large concourse attending these last sad rites but testified the general sympathy for his family and the sorrow at his untimely taking away. Deceased was 37 years old at his death. His mother the late Mrs. Teague preceded him by only a few months. He is survived by a wife three children, who, we understand will make Troup their future home. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to them in this, life's darkest trial.
