Brooks’ Cemetery can be reached from Shepherd northeast on Hwy. 59 to FM 1127, then approximately 5 miles toward Drew’s Landing, back in the area some 200-300 feet, on property currently owned by Mary E. Yates.

There are about 7 graves here, of which only one is known.  There have been no burials since the property was purchased by Steven Yates in 1934.  All burials were Brooks family, and there are only 2 markers.  Information for Brooks Cemetery was submitted by Mary Yates, owner of the property.
