Antioch Cemetery is invariably tied to the settlement of the Antioch Community.  Several families settled in the Antioch Community, including: Henry and Sally Dodd’s family; Weeks families; Hyde families; Rogers(Rodgers) families; Kelly (Kelley) families; and Johnson families

From research of church records, from information gained from discussions with descendants of ancestors buried there, a conclusion was reached that between 75 and 100 persons are known to have been buried in Cemetery.  It is almost a certainty there were other burials for which there are no known records.  Many of the known burials no longer have markers.  Still others never had any type of identifying materials.  Today, Antioch Cemetery is considered an active cemetery since burials for descendants’ family members have occurred since the year 2000.

From the highway, Antioch Cemetery seems to be a deserted cemetery.  However, upon closer inspection, Antioch Cemetery is well-maintained by descendants of people buried there.
