Information furnished by John Dulin

Submitted by Gloria B. Mayfield, Rusk County Coordinator

This cemetery is located in the southwestern part of the county. From Henderson, go out FM 225 through Laneville to CR 4232. Turn right on CR 4232 and follow it until it crosses FM 2758. Just as you cross the Farm-to-Market road, there will be a small church sign on the left. To the left of this sign is a clearing leading up a hill between the trees along the highway and a wooded area. Proceed up the clearing to the high point and cross over the wire fence. The cemetery is located about thirty feet into the woods.

Six or seven graves are marked with rocks buried halfway in the ground. There is also a grave with a concrete border with a rock for a marker. There are only three readable tombstones marking four graves. The oldest grave is 1877 and the latest is 1882.

The parents of the Nunnally children were Charles L. Nunnally, born in Virginia ca 1837, who married in Rusk County TX on Nov 29, 1869 to H.A. "Alfina" Reagan, born ca 1830 in TX. They appear on the 1880 Rusk County census, but these children will not appear as both were born after the 1870 census and both died before the 1880 census.

The Wallaces appear to be Thomas and Elizabeth A. Wallace, the parents of Susan A. Wallace, who married George T. McNeil.
