This cemetery is located off the old Florey Farm Road, a few miles from Overton,Texas.  Surrounded b a wire fence, pasture land on other side of cemetery. There is also a black cemetery next to this cemetery.  Many native rocks, old funeral markers exist to mark the burial places of early settlers of the Red Level community of Rusk Co, Texas. A few of the funeral markers are from Pearson Funeral Home at Overton, but they have no existing records of burials that far back.  The Cemetery sign is a homemade sign and the name is Fortston.  Fortson Cemetery is almost in Smith Co. Tx on CR 1111.Copied Feb 1986
