Located near Brown Pond on the old Kilgore road north of the railroad. This family plot is enclosed by an iron fence. The four graves have footmarkers, but one central marker with the names on four sides. Large oak trees overshadow the plot.

Brown, Taylor Feb 7 1800- Oct 9 1883

Brown, Tom J. Aug 3 1845- Oct 1852

Brown, John F. July 1, 1840- April 4 1870

Possibly also buried here in an unmarked grave is : David Brown, who was shown on the 1850 Rusk Co., TX census ag aged 93 years, born South Carolina. David Brown was the father of Taylor Brown.
