Jean Souther Obit Hooker Ridge Cemetery, Rains Co. Cemeteries of TX

Funeral services for Jean Souther of Point were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 6, at Our Lady of Fatima. Burial followed in Hooker Ridge Cemetery with Father Doug Deshotel officiating. Pallbearers were Chris Cromeens, Jeff Cromeens, Douglas Kennedy, and Todd Kennedy. Mrs. Souther died Wednesday, December 1, in Dallas. She was born to Carl and Annie Nottingham Beaty in Dallas on May 30, 1927. She and Bob Souther were married for 49 years. She was a secretary, a member of Our Lady of Fatima, and involved in a number of East Tawakoni civic affairs. Jean was a true friend to everyone, with a listening heart and a caring spirit. Survivors include her children, Paula Vivian of East Tawakoni, Donna Worcester of Dallas, Debbie Cromeens of Gordonville, and Michael Souther of Huntsville; one sister, Edith Bogart of Corsicana; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
