Uncle Jim Childers Dead Just after the clock had tolled off the midnight hour Thursday night, April the 22nd, the death angel gathered up the spirit of Uncle Jim Childers and wafted it away to the realms of the great beyond where it joined the innumerable throng gone on before.  Uncle Jim was an honored and highly respected citizen of his community, where he has lived for quite a number of years, and the news of his death caused a pang of sadness to his many friends.  His remains were interred in the Pilgrims Rest cemetery about noon Saturday.  The Leader offers sympathy and condolence to the bereaved family.
