KEITHVILLE, LA - Services for Nora "Nokie" Lee Nunley Strong, 77, will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 20, 2002 at Rose-Neath's Logansport Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Randy Johnson, pastor of Berean Baptist Church where Mrs. Strong was a member. Burial will follow in Reeves Cemetery, Logan, Texas.

Funeral home visitation will be Sunday, May 19, 2002 from 3 - 5 p.m.

Mrs. Strong, retired clerk at Hancock Fabrics, died Thursday, May 16, 2002 in Shreveport, LA after a brief illness. She was born in Logansport, LA and a resident of Keithville, LA.

She was preceded in death by parents, Jonah & Rosa Nunley and a sister, Doris O'Brien.

She is survived by daughter, Dorothy LaMerle Nesbett and husband Richard, Shreveport, LA; sister, Adis Elaine Baxter, Shreveport, LA; brother, Leon Nunley, Shreveport, LA; two grandchildren, Randy Nesbett and wife Tyra, Keithville, LA and Kevin Nesbett of Shreveport, LA; three great grandchildren, Harlee, Aaron and Adam Nesbett.

Pallbearers will be Randy Nesbett, Kevin Nesbett, Mike O'Brien, Johnny Nunley, Shelton Perkins and Rusty Hays.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Hays and L. J. Whitten.
