Located on CR 225 in the Holland Quarters Community , this was one of the first cemeteries in which the graves of African Americans and whites were co-mingled throughout the cemetery instead of being in separate, well-defined sections.

Old Macedonia Cemetery was established in 1838. It is located on CR 225 in Holland Quarters, and it was the first to accept blacks. The first Black to be buried there was Edith Holt , daughter of Cyrus "Ci" Holt and Lucy Holland born 1874 and died December 16, 1895

This is a beautiful cemetery and well maintained.
