From Carthage take State Hwy 315 for approximately 8 miles to the intersection of FM 1971. Turn left on FM 1971 and go .2 of a miles and the cemetery is on the right side of the road. There is a worn sign with the name Long Cemetery.
There are several slabs marking graves and possible more located in the underbrush at the back of the cemetery.
