Garden of Memories Cemetery is location beside the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church on Highway # 79 East Carthage to Shreveport highway; between DeBerry and Panola, TX It is the second cemetery of the Panola-Mt. Zion Cemetery Association and is named the Garden of Memories. It is a new section of the larger Mt Zion cemetery, with the first burial in this new section being J.D. Moore, Jr who died May 27 1981.
