Mrs. E. C. Moore

WOLFE CITY - Mrs. E. C. Waid Moore, 93, of Lufkin, died Thursday in Lufkin. Graveside services are at 2 p.m. today at Mount Carmel Cemetery with Rev. Eldon Chester officiating.

Born in Wolfe City on May 2, 1904, she was the daughter of Walter William and Harriet Wortham Waid. She and Albert R. Moore were married in 1924. She was a housewife and a member of First United Methodist Church in Huntsville.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy Gene and Dr. Thomas B. Owen of Lufkin; two sisters, Thelma Roberts of Muskogee, Okla. and Inez Hill of Houston; a brother, O.W. Waid of Norco, Calif.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and three nephews and two nieces.

R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home of Wolfe City is in charge of arrangements.
