Mildred Holcombe

Lillian, Ala.-Services for Mildred Robnett Holcombe, 90, of Lillian, Ala., will be held at 2 p.m. today at R.W. Owens and Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin Mitchell officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.  She died Thursday in Pensacola, Fla.

Born in Wolfe City on Oct. 22, 1907, she was the daughter of Jim Wright and Frances Stidham Harrell.  She married Dwight L. “Dutch” Robnett in Wolfe City on Dec. 10, 1923.  He preceded her in death on Jan. 24, 1974.

She later married Ralph Holcombe and he also preceded her in death in 1991.  She was a housewife and a Baptist.

She is survived by two daughters, Joyce Yeats of Phoenix, Ariz., and Amelia Ann Vess of Lillian, Ala.; two sisters, Etta Glee Malone of Wolfe City and Asa Lee Fulenwider of Dallas; seven grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers include Charles Vess, Gene Banks, David Banks, Daniel Banks, Kenny Jones and Billy Malone.
