Willie Henslee

WOLFE CITY-Willie Azalee Henslee, 100, of Plano, longtime resident of Wolfe City, died Thursday at Heritage Manor Nursing Home of Plano after a lengthy illness. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. today at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Elden Chester officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery.

Born April 22, 1898 in McGregory, she was the daughter of James Morris Moore and Mollie Seaton Moore. She and Hubert Henslee were married Dec. 19, 1916 in Wolfe City. She was a housewife. Mrs. Henslee was a member of First United Methodist Church in Wolfe City.

Survivors include three daughters, Elna Crowell of Village Mills, Willdene Rowland of Richardson and Loretha Sue Brooks of Monroe, La.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 7, 1987 and one son, Lowell Henslee.

Pallbearers are Freddie Watchendorf, Malcolm Rowland, Randy Rowland, Aaron Brooks, Rusty Brooks and Dustin Rowland.
