WOLFE CITY - Luther C. Henington, 75, of 2108 Commerce Dr., Greenville, a former Wolfe City resident, died at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday in a Dallas hospital.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church here with the Rev. Marck Gibson and the Rev. Thomas Beall officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery.

Henington was born Dec., 31, 1904, at Davis, Indian Territory, Okla., the son of Joseph I. and Ophelia Theodosia McIntosh Henington. He married Gladys Robnett July 18, 1948, at Dallas. Henington was a retired photographer and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; daughters, Drucilla East of Portland and Betty Roddy of Greenville; four grand­children; one great-grandson; brothers, Roy Henington of Gig Harbor, Wash., Joe Henington of Shelton, Wash., Merrill Henington of Poulsbo, Wash.; and sisters, Stella Swanson of Kansas City, Mo., and Jewel Cartwright of Lufkin.
