Carl Fulenwider

Wolfe City-Services for Dallas resident Carl Fulenwider, 70, will be at Owens Funeral Chapel at 10 a.m. Thursday with Rev. Donald C. Brown officiating.  Burial will be in the Mount Carmel Cemetery.He died Monday in Baylor Medical Center.

Born July 9, 1921 in Wolfe City, he was the son of E.L. Fulenwider and Sally Griggs Fulenwider. On Dec. 24, 1941, he married Nina Azalee Harrell in Wolfe City.  Mr. Fulenwider was an insurance agent and member of Fruitdale Baptist Church of Dallas.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Larry Fulenwider of Mesquite; one daughter, Judy Taylor of Dallas; one brother, Bill Fulenwider, of Sherman; five sisters, Ollie Williams of Greenville, Susie McDonald of Arlington, Lucille Rudd, and Effie Scarbrough, both of Dallas, and Hazel Blackburn of Duncanville; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
