Allen W. Campbell (Greenville Herald Banner, Monday, 6-9-1997)

WOLFE CITY- Allen W. Campbell, 80, of Wolfe City, died Saturday in a Terrell hospital.  Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Carmel Cemetery.

He was born in Mabank on Nov. 7, 1916, to Homer and Minnie Lee Braggs Campbell.  He married Nelda Marie Tipps in 1958.  He was a retired cement worker and a Baptist.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Lori Ann Campbell; a brother, Robert T. Campbell of Tampa, Fl., and a sister, Emma Messer of Terrell.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City.
