Funeral services for Charles William Heath, 66, of Greenville, were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 22, at Greater Rose of Sharon Church of God in Christ with Rev. Warren Dennis officiating. Burial was at Grundy Memorial Park in Greenville. Mr. Heath was born November 14, 1938, to Prentice and Earnestine Heath. He was a laborer and a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Tony Heath and wife Sabrina of McKinney, and Herschel Garrett of Emory; six daughters, Elaine Pipkins and husband Gary of Dallas, Carla Heath of Greenville, LeDene Terry and husband Rodney of Mesquite, Alicia Thomas and husband Vernon of Dallas, Charles Ann Heath of Greenville, and one other daughter; two brothers, Billy Ray Heath and wife Ann, and Billy Donnell Heath and wife Tamme, all of Greenville; sisters Wylan Ruth Wright and husband Robert of Mansfield, Barbara Ann Heath, Virginia Traylor, Sandra Pannell and husband Melvin, and Judy Heath, all of Greenville, and Brenda McCurdy and husband Ricky of Duncanville; 13 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one son, a sister, and two brothers.
