JEFFERSON — Wynell Mason Powell, 82, of Jefferson died Friday, June 2, 2006, in Jefferson. Graveside services are at 1 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2006, in Van Sickle Cemetery in Hunt County with Rev. Benny Shaffin officiating.  Mrs. Powell was born Jan. 24, 1924, in Hunt County; the daughter of Robert Marion and Alice Elizabeth Cathey Mason. She graduated from Caddo Mills High School.  Mrs. Powell worked as a secretary at Airmotive Supply in Dallas and also for Milam Oldfield Maintenance in Jefferson. She was affiliated with the Church of Christ and was a member of the Rebekah Lodge in Coppell.
Surviving are daughters and husbands, Kathie and Calvin Milam and Gail and Dane Stevenson, all of Lake O’ The Pines; son, Alden Leon Powell of Cleveland, Texas; grandchildren, Alice Wilson, Kelly Powell, Tonya Lohman, Wendy Stevenson, Kimberly Sanders, Jennifer Powell and Shauna Luna; and great-grandchildren, Amber Gates, Jonathan McClure, Skyler Lohman, Mason Lohman, Brody Price, Conner Price and Wesley Sanders.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Leon Powell, in 1990.  Visitation is from 3 to 5 p.m. today at Haggard-Heaster Funeral Home in Jefferson, which is in charge of arrangements.
