Willie Ray Foster, 64, of Cash passed away Saturday, July 22, 2006, in a Fort Worth hospital. Services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at Peters Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery.  He was born May 9, 1942, to Willie Haskell Foster and Linnie Camp.   Mr. Foster was owner and operator of a transport trucking company and served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was of the Pentacostal faith.  Surviving are a son Willie C. Foster and wife, Kacee, of Cash; daughter, Swan Springer Foster of Cash; brother, Carrol Gene Foster of Balch Springs; and two grandchildren, Gracee Rae Foster and Nolan Haskell Foster.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lovita Abbott; and son, Haskell Ray Foster.  Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Barbara Jean Cummings Smith, 67, of McKinney died Nov. 23, 2006, at her residence. A graveside service is at 2 p.m. today at Bethel Cemetery in Greenville with Rev. Gary Little officiating.  Barbara was born Oct. 13, 1939, to parents Julius Dorsey and Nannie Faye Wygal Cummings in Greenville. Barbara was a caregiver in the healthcare industry.  She is survived by a daughter, Jean Keller and husband Jay of Terrell; a son, Harold David Smith and wife Laura of DeSoto; sister Jessie Faye Cummings of Fairview; four grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son, Julius Dean Smith in 2005; her parents; brothers Carl and Sonny Cummings; and several aunts and uncles Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.  Peters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements

Beverly Thomason, 61, of Campbell, died Saturday Nov. 25, 2006, at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, at Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Ricky Sanders officiating. Burial is in Bethel Cemetery.  Ms. Thomason was born Aug. 1, 1945, in Greenville, the daughter of Vester and Valene Phelps Sanders. She was a retired telephone operator for AT&T and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Campbell.  Visitation ise from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Survivors aree her mother, Valene Sanders of Greenville; one son, Erick Thomason of New Orleans, La.; two brothers, Ricky Sanders of Campbell and Steve Sanders of Azle, Texas; and one sister, Wanda Booth of Arizona.  She was preceded in death by her father, a sister, Donna Gibson, and a brother, Jerry Sanders.
