            Funeral services for Margueritte Lennon, 78, of Miller Grove, were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 31, at County Line Baptist Church with the Rev. Lee Emerson officiating and the Rev. Guy Mays assisting.
            Burial followed at Pippin Hill Cemetery with Howard Garrett, Lewis W. Watts, Stevie Tipps, James Taylor, David Garrett, and Junior Dickens serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers were Tim Wilson, Kip Knowles, Ronny Branom, and Lawrence Terry.
            Mrs. Lennon died Saturday, Jan. 29, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital.
            She was born on January 18, 1916, in Miller Grove, to Lula and John Claude Branom.  She married Loyd Lennon on December 23, 1941, in Miller Grove.  He survives.
            Mrs. Lennon was a retired school teacher and a member of the Baptist Church.
            Other survivors include her mother, Lula B. Branom of Sulphur Springs; two sons, Johnny Lennon and Rex Lennon of Miller Grove; two daughters, Judy Ashby of Henderson and Marjean Stotts of Miller Grove; one brother, Paul Branom of Cumby; two sisters, Jodie Knowles of County Line and Lula Mae Wilson of San Antonio; and 9 grandchildren.
            Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
