Everett Watson (Sulphur Spirngs News Telegram, August 18, 1977)

Funeral services for Everett Lee Watson, 32, of Brashear will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Tapp Funeral Home. He died Tuesday afternoon in a Dallas hospital after a short illness.

Born in Sulphur Springs March 14, 1945, he was the son of Leonard and Dorothy Proctor Watson. He married June Rucks Aug. 4, 1972, in Seagoville.

Mr. Watson was an electrician and a Vietnam veteran. He was a member of the Center Point Baptist Church.

Survivors include his widow; a son, William Everett Watson; parents Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Watson of Brashear; sister Mrs. Brenda McClesky of Austin; and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Otha D. Proctor of Brashear.

Services will be conducted by the Rev. Tim Mabe. Pallbearers will be Sammy Waskom, Bobby Bearden, Henry Garmon, James Watts, Junior Millsap and Larry Burns. Burial will be in Brashear Cemetery.
