Valarie DeMuth (Sulphur Springs News Telegram, September, 26, 1983)

Valarie Rene DeMuth, the 6-day-old daughter of Ed and Karla Sue Johnson DeMuth of Center, died Sunday in LSU Medical Center in Shreveport.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Miller Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Ridley and Kenneth Dodd officiating.

Pallbearers are Randy Renshaw, Douglas Hall, Clint George, Lance Mabe, Gary and Teddie Jennings.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Monday at Tapp Funeral Home.

She was born Sept. 19 in Shreveport.

Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. DeMuth of Center; a sister, Amanda DeMuth; grandparents, Freeman and Rose Johnson of Miller Grove and Grace DeMuth of Center; great-grandparents, H.B. Bain of Sulphur Springs and J. Frank Carter of Princeton; three aunts, Connie Hill of Sulphur Springs, Cathy Kraft of Princeton and Virgie Johnson of Miller Grove; and uncle, Franklin Johnson of Miller Grove, and a host of other relatives.
