Boyd Darrow (Sulphur Springs News Telegram, Monday, May 25, 1998, pg. 11)

Funeral services for Boyd Darrow, 86, of Brashear will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, in Wilson-Orwosky Chapel with the Rev. Guy Mayes officiating.

Burial will be in Miller Grove Cemetery with Ronny Darrow, Johnny Darrow, Justin Darrow, Johnny Ferguson, and Keith Darrow serving as pallbearers. Mack Phillips will serve as honorary pallbearer.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home in Emory.

Mr. Darrow died Monday, May 25, in Hopkins County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Sept. 22, 1911, in Hopkins County, the son of Dee and Willie Johnson Darrow. He married Eula Mae Grayson in February of 1932 in Hopkins County. She survives.

Mr. Darrow was a former machinist for the Murray Company, retiring after 33 years. He was a Methodist.

Other survivors include a son, Gary Reeves Darrow of Brashear; a daughter, Margaret Helen Cain of Emory; a sister, Lorene Waskom of Miller Grove; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
