LOCATION: From Business Highway 83 on east side of Mercedes, drive south on US 491 (Rio Rico Road) two miles to Jose M. Cantu Road (just before bridge across Arroyo Colorado). Turn west 1/4 mile on paved road. Cemetery is on north side of road, across from Ebony Grove Cemetery.

HISTORY; Mercedes Memorial Restlawn Cemetery was established in 1991 by Jose M. Jr. and Rosa Cantu and their son Raymundo Cantu after Jose retired from military service. It is non-denominational and maintained by the owners, whose home is adjacent to the cemetery. The family also operates a monument works on the property.
