DEATHS

BENTON HARRELL

Benton Harrell of Hickory Creek died Monday at his home after several weeks illness. Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at the Grove Hill  Methodist Church at 3:30 by the Rev. C. P. Combs. Interment will be in the Grove Hill Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, one son and a daughter.

Pneumonia Siege Is Fatal To H.B. Harrell

Final rites were observed on Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 8, from the Hickory Creek Methodist Church at 2:00 o'clock for Mr. Benton Harrell, who passed away at his home in the Hickory Creek section on Tuesday morning at 10:20 o'clock, after a nine-days siege of double pneumonia.  Rev, Hancock pastor of the Hickory Creek Methodist Church, was in charge of the service.  Interment was in the Grove Hill Cemetery, near Bailey.

The deceased is survived by his widow, a daughter, Mrs. Richard Thornton; a son, Ray; one grandchild; his father, Mr. Bill Harrell; four brothers and two sisters.
