Macon, Billy Tom
Funeral services were held for Billy Tom Macon, age 82 of Bailey on Wednesday, January 2 at 2:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home chapel in Leonard with Reverend Brian Hawkins officiating. Burial was in the Philadelphia Cemetery in Gober. He died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007 at the Clyde Cosper Veterans Home in Bonham.
Billy Tom Macon was born May 8, 1925 in Bailey the son of Kim William Macon and Ethel Wharton Macon. He married Frances Hembree in Bonham on December 26, 1953. He was an aircraft mechanic and a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was associated with the First Baptist Church of Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Macon of Bailey; son and daughter-in-law Mark and Barbara Macon of Irving; daughter and son-in-law Vicki and Vernon Richardson of Bailey; sisters Donna Smith of North Richland Hills and Marleta Herndon of Tyler; and grandson Zeke Richardson of Bailey.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 1, 2008 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Leonard. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Bailey.

Macon, Frances
LEONARD — Funeral services for Frances Macon, a 79-year-old resident of the Bailey area, are at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home chapel. Rev. Brian Hawkins will officiate. Burial is in the Philadelphia Cemetery near Gober. Mrs. Macon was born June 27, 1928, in Gober; the daughter of Frank and Willie Ann Babers Hembree. She was married to Billy Tom Macon on Dec, 26, 1953, in Bonham. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bailey. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Barbara Macon of Irving; daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Vernon Richardson of Bailey; and grandson, Zeke Richardson of Bailey. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her three brothers, Ray, Bill and Paul Hembree. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home in Leonard. Brian Hawkins officiated. Burial was in the Philadelphia Cemetery near Gober. Family visitation was Monday, May 5th from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel in Leonard.
