For more information of Fannin County and its cemeteries contact Susan Hawkins.

I understand some of these were moved a few years ago and may be in the Forest Grove Cemetery. Forest Grove is the main cemetery of the Telephone area.

Wise Funeral Home Record of an Estes Goan who died at age 23 on Feb 27 1923, buried in "Telephone Cemetery". The book includes entries from Forest Grove so I think this is the right cemetery for him. The person who authorized the burial is Jno. W. Goan. * There are in this area Goar Family and Gann Family as well. Could be that spelling possibly.
