Cemeteries of Texas Coordinator: Dolores I. Bishop

There are two Lee Cemeteries in the area, this one is located on Spring Creek at the bend in County Road 2998. It is east of Dodd City. These Lees are cousins of General Robert E. Lee who while a young soldier stationed at Ft. Washita in Indian Territory cam for a visit.

Much of this information comes from Jo Lena Lee Boles. Her grandparents were James A. Lee and Mary McDonald Lee. Jo Lena and her husband have completed some repairs and upkeep on this cemetery.
