Allen -Morgan Cemetery 

(aka Wolberg Cemetery)

This cemetery is nearly destroyed.  It was referred to as the Woelburge/Wolberg land and cemetery though none are known buried there. In the past 15 years it has more stone pieces It is located about a mile NE of Allen's Chapel on the Allens Creek bank.

According to a story written by Floy Hodge ,Elbert J. Allen wed Joshua Morgan's daughter (Jemima) two month's after his wife died. After which time Joshua Morgan left to the Calif. Gold mines and died on the way. See notes on Joshua's wife below this census .

Another Grave Is close by but I have not placed it yet:
(Cynthia Morgan 1799-1846 is recorded as buried north of this on Elbert Allen's land,  died 5 Sept.1846 age 47 , Joshua Morgan came to Texas in 1838 to Lamar County and this was his second wife Cynthia Bonnas  
 It is described as a large native stonewell done and will "last the ages'
