Flores, Vicente Rodolfo
Vicente Rodolfo Flores, age 72, passed away on April 23, 2008 in Plano, Texas. He was born August 3, 1935 in Palestine Coah, Mexico, to Juana (Robles) and Vicente R. Flores. On June 16, 1961, he married Maria Mendoza in Jimenez Coahuila, Mexico. Vicente is survived by his wife, Maria Flores of Frisco, Texas; children, Rudy Flores, Alberto J. Flores, Maria Cavazos, Nora Meza, Cesar Flores, Alma Zubiri, Patricia Gonzales; brothers, Carlos Flores, Alfinio Flores, Miguel Flores; sister, Lupe Sanchez; 27 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Vicente was preceded in death by his parents, Juana and Vicente; and brothers, Hector Flores, Cesar G. Flores. A Funeral Service will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Frisco, Texas, on Friday, April 25, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Rudy Flores officiating. Interment will be held at Little Elm Cemetery. The family received friends during a visitation on Thursday beginning at 6 p.m. ~ ~ ~ Plano Star Courier, Thursday, April 24, 2008

Ortega, Luciana
Luciana Ortega, age 70, passed away on May 19, 2008 in McKinney, Texas. She was born on November 25, 1937 in Bluntzer, Texas, to Alcario and Ignacia (Abigo) Rodriguez. In 1952, Luciana married Clemente G. Ortega, Jr., in Robstown, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic faith.
Luciana is survived by her sons, Clemente Ortega and his wife, Rebecca, of Little Elm, Texas, Teofilo Ortega and his wife, Minta, of Frisco, Texas, Raul Ortega and his wife, Donna, of McKinney, Texas, Robert Ortega and his wife, C.J., of Irving, Texas; daughters, Carolota Jeffrey and her husband, Erik, of Celina, Texas, Dolores Ortega of Celina, Texas; daughter-in-law, LaWanda Ortega of The Colony, Texas; brothers, Alcario, Polo, Lupe; and sisters, Cecilia and Cruz.
Luciana was preceded in death by her husband, Clemente G. Ortega, Jr.; parents, Alcario and Ignacia Rodriguez; sons, Eduardo R. Ortega and Armando R. Ortega.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Frisco, Texas, on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 10 a.m. with Father Timothy Heines presiding. Interment followed at Little Elm Cemetery in Little Elm, Texas. The family received friends during a visitation on Wednesday. ~ ~ ~ Star Community Newspapers, Thursday, May 22, 2008
