VAN ALSTYNE - Bruce Carlton
Lafollett, 60, of Van Alstyne passed away Nov. 23, 2009 in Denton. He was born
on Sept. 5, 1949 in McKinney to Ralph and Evelyn (Cates) Lafollett and was a
resident of the Denton State School for the past 40 years. The family would
like to thank the staff of Denton Regional Medical Center and the Denton State
School for their excellent quality of care and support.
Bruce is survived by his father, Ralph Lafollett of Van Alstyne; brothers,
Charles Lafollett and wife, Susan of Van Alstyne, and Duane Lafollett and
wife, Stasha of Sherman; nephews, Brad Lafollett and Douglas Lafollett;
nieces, Caroline Lafollett and Brittany Lafollett; aunt and uncle, Basil and
Bobbie Lafollett of Richardson, and great-niece Zoe Lafollett.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Lafollett and his grandparents.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009 at the
Williams Cemetery in McKinney with Bro. Jimmy Tarrant officiating. Visitation
will be held from 6 -8 p.m. Tuesday at Flesher Funeral Home in Van Alstyne.
