George Washington Cave( son of Betsy Cave Brazeal)  Born Jan 23 1847 Greene county Missouri died Feb. 22 1922 Colin County, Texas 

 

Obituary in the McKinney Courier Gazette 2/3/1922 page 1.      George Washington Cave 75 year old died at his home three miles north of McKinney, Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  Deceased was born in Christian county, Missouri, January 23,1847.  He united with the Christian church in early manhood.  In December 1866 he married to Miss E F Fulton at Springfield, Missouri.  He had been a resident of Collin County for many years.  Funeral services were held at the family residence this afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. A. H. Snider of McKinney.  Interment was made in the Orenduff cemetery.  Deceased is survived by his widow and the following children; J.F. Cave, Melissa; W.T. Cave, Princeton, J.T. Cave at home, Miss Iva and Nellie Cave at home; Everett Cave, Winnaboro and Albert Cave, McKinney.  He is also survived by twenty-three  grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  He is also survived by two brothers, J.T. Cave of Weston and J. F. Cave of Eden, Texas and three half brothers J.W. , W.H and AJ  Brazeal all of McKinney.
