BEFORE ME The undersigned Authority in and for Collin County, Texas, on this day personally appeared T. B. Chapman known to me to be the person whose name is subscribed to the foregoing instrument and acknowledges to me that he executed the same for the purposes and consideration herein expressed. Also on the date personally appeared N. T. Chapman wife of T. B. Chapman known to me to be the person whose name is subscribed to the foregoing instrument, and having been examined by me privily (sic) and a part from her husband, and having the same fully explained to her, she, the said N. T. Chapman acknowledged such instrument to be her act and deed, and declared that she had willingly signed the same for the purpose and consideration herein expressed, and that she did not wish to retract it.

That We T. B. Chapman and wife N. T. Chapman of the County of Collin, State of Texas in consideration of the sum of one dollar paid by E. M. Glass-Trustee.

One ($1.00) cash to us in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have Granted, Bargained, Sold and Conveyed, and by these present do Grant, Bargain, Sell and Convey unto the said E. M. Glass of the County of Collin in the State of Texas all that certain Lot, Tract or Parcel of Land, described as follows: Situated in Collin County Texas and being about 2 ˝ miles North-West from the city of Farmersville and being a part of W. B. Williams Survey.

Beginning at a stake in the road Six feet north of the North West corner of the Glass Cemetery- Thence East 35 yards-Thence South 27 yards-Thence West 35 yards-Thence North 27 yards to the place of beginning.

In trust however where the following condition and for the following uses and none other to wit. That the land herein conveyed to the said E. M. Glass as Trustee for the benefit of the said E. M. Glass, T. B. Chapman and their descendants and family connections for a burying ground and for no other purpose whatever. Together with all and singular, the rights, members, hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belonging, or in anywise incident or appertaining. TO HAVE AND HOLD all and singular, the said premises, unto the said E. M. Glass, Trustee, his heirs and assigns forever. And we hereby bind ourselves-our heirs, executors and administrators, to warrant and forever defend, all and singular, the said premises unto the said E. M. Glass, heirs and assigns, against every person whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same, or any part thereof.
