From Murphy, travel east on Hwy
544. The cemetery is located inside Murphy City limits.
From Wylie, travel west on Hwy 544.It is about 0.4 mile from the Wylie City
limits.
Turn north onto N. Maxwell Creek Drive. Cross a railroad track. The
Wm. Murphy Family Cemetery is located about ½ mile from the intersection of
Hwy 544 & N. Maxwell Creek Drive. At the intersection of N. Maxwell Creek Drive
and Tom Clevenger Drive is a grassy path on the left side of the road (just
before the road curves). There is a large portion of the cemetery towards the
back that has no markers or evidence of markers.
