Minnie Louise Jordan, 45, of New Boston, Texas, died Monday, October 3, 2005, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Jordan was born December 15, 1959, in New Boston. She was a nursing supervisor and a
member and elder of Mount Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Roosevelt Jordan
of New Boston; three sons, DeEdric "Kel" Petty, Mark Cory Petty and Justin Howard Petty of New Boston;
her mother, Mazie Moss of Dallas; one brother, Thomas Stanley "Hobo" Moss of New Boston; two sisters,
Lauren Moss-Mathis of Cedar Hill, Texas, and Alene Mathis-Smith of Duncanville, Texas; five grandchildren;
and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Grove Baptist Church with Kenneth
Reid officiating. Burial will be in Arkadelphia Cemetery under direction of Lyles Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-8
p.m. today at the funeral home.
