Anna E. Jones, 91,of New Boston, Texas, died Monday, January 23,2006, in New Boston.
Ms. Jones was born September 11,1914, in Marietta, Texas. She was a member of Arkadelphia
Baptist Church, Old Boston, Texas, where she was a pastor's aide and former choir member.
Survivors include three sons, Edgar Williams of Texarkana, Booker Jones Jr. of New Boston
and Kelvin Jones of Houston; four daughters, Teresa Anderson of New Boston, Etta Jones
of Texarkana, Alberta Smith of Houston and Lois Green of DeSoto, Texas; 35 grandchildren;
34 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at
Arkadelphia Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Ford officiating. Burial will be in Arkadelphia
Cemetery, under direction of Haynes Mortuary. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral
home.
