Ian Quentine Johnson, 38, of Maud, Texas, died Saturday, January 14,2006, in Old Boston, Texas.
Mr. Johnson was born September 11,1967, in Texarkana, Texas. He was an employee of Red
River Army Depot. He was preceded in death by one son, Devorrius Edwards. Survivors include
one son, Ian Q. Edwards of Texarkana; his parents, Ernest Johnson Sr. of Hooks, Texas, and Lillie
Gray of Maud; five brothers, Ernest Johnson Jr. and Allen Johnson of Maud, Adrian Gray of Denver,
Christopher Vaughn of Redwater, Texas, and Zackery Johnson of Hooks; four sisters, Amenia Butler
of New Boston, Texas, LaTasha Davis of Baltimore, Md., Schronda Brown of Hooks and Ruthie James
of Texarkana; two grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at
Arkadelphia Baptist Church, Old Boston, with the Rev. Willie Terry officiating. Burial will be in Arkadelphia
Cemetery, under direction of Haynes Mortuary. Visitation will be 1-5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
