AGNES SORSBY

Agnes J. "Polly" Sorsby, 84, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, November 15,2006 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Sorsby was born October 5,1922 in Texarkana, Ark. She was a member of Silver Circle, Altar Society, Catholic Daughters and St. Edward Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband,
Thomas Franklin Sorsby. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Therese and Thomas Richard Helm of Camp Hill, Pa., and Agnes Lou and Samuel Thomas Tirrito Sr. of Texarkana; three grandchildren, Samuel Thomas Tirrito Jr., Sarah Gabrielle Tirrito and Franklin Richard Helm; one nephew, Bill Chandler and one niece, Barbara Horton. Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Vincent Flusche and Deacon Joe Bruick officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, under direction of East Funeral Home, Moores Lane. Rosary will be 6 p.m. Sunday and visitation will be 6:30-8 p.m. Sunday. Online registration is at www.mem.com.
