OLLIE SORSBY

Ollie Mae Sorsby, 84, of Redwater, Texas, died Tuesday, October 17,2000 in a New Boston, Texas nursing home. Mrs. Sorsby was born March 2,1916 in Bowie County, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Sorsby.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Shirley Sorsby of Redwater; seven grandchildren, Dawn Sorsby, Cindy Taylor, Brenda Willis, and Tami Sorsby of Redwater; Billy Sorsby of Maud, Texas, Chuck Sorsby of New Boston and Jamey Sorsby of Dennison, Texas; and 16 great-grandchildren. Services will be 4 p.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Anthony McLaughlin officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, under direction of East Funeral Home.
