 Woodard Cemetery

Anderson Co. Cemeteries of TX

Submitted by Judy Mount

LOCATION:  From Palestine go south on 19 to FR 2419, about 2 miles.  Take  FR 2419 approximately 10 miles to where it dead ends with 294. Take a left toward Solcum. about 1/2 block where there is a sign posted Woodard Cemetery, pointing to the east.  Go 1 mile down this road and there is a second sign at the intersection with County Road 184.  The cemetery is very small and is on this corner in the trees.  It is in a very rural area, however there are houses across the street and next to the cemetery. There is no fence around the cemetery and the stones are well taken care of.  I was greeted by a very friendly old dog who hung around while I surveyed the cemetery.
